Hi all,

Been a Ford lover these past years but after being invited on an AMG performance drive I was bitten by the AMG bug.
Can't afford a new one but just picked up a 3 year old CLA45 AMG today and I'm over the moon with it.
Anyway, just saying hello and hoping to get to know you all in the coming months.

Nice car ,out of interest what was your Ford flavour classic or fwd ford ?

I had a 2011 Focus RS in Ultimate Green. Great car but harder on the body than the AMG.

RS focus nice cars I wonder if they will go the same way as the Sierra cosworths in price in years to come, I personally like the older fords the suspension on your new car can't be much pliable than the RS?

I don't know if it's the seats or the suspension but the 45 seems more comfortable than the RS. I should know as having 2 bulging discs and one prolapsed disc in the base of my spine, comfort was of great importance. I had a go in a 2016 CLA 250 AMG Sport which was very nice too. I went for the 45 as I think it looks better... more aggressive.

I know the looks of the CLA seems to be a bit marmite, but I love it! And the CLA45 is head and shoulders above the CLA250 AMG, I should know, I have the A250 AMG lol
