Newbie to mercs w203 remap

Any one got some advice on remaps for my 2005 w203 c220cdi, ie is it worth doing, any recommendation of a decent company to use. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What sort of maps do you offer, I'm looking to get around 170 Bhp with an economy map

I thought that 220cdi was 170bhp to start off with? or is it 150?

Just to add, He was struggling to get time off work and Chip Tuners came to him, and seeing as they done a excelent job on mine i suggested he went there.

I presume they have a generic map then? or do they just increase the figures they feel would have an effect?

Got tbh not sure, I know they specialize in German cars i can give you there number, im sure they can explain.

No probs, I've got their website anyway, might contact them at some point too. I've got no problem with pre-written maps, as long as they are written by a very reputable company with good R&D investment. I'm not sure if I'd like figures being tweaked on general feels of what would gain the performance benefits - in this instance I'd prefer a live rolling road map.

it's 150 BHP standard, custom map gained 40bhp and 80 nm torque

it was down to a recommendation that made me decide and the fact that he came to my work place. I'm very happy with the results and the service I received and appreciate the advice I got from the other two guys on here.
