Hi everyone,
My dad has given me his W202 to drive and look after, which is very nice of him. I would like to buy a nice set of alloy wheels as the car currently has horrible steel wheels with trim, which aren't particularly nice as I am sure you will agree.
The car is a 1999 250 Turbodiesel classic (dark blue/purple/almost black) colour, not sure what its called with 140,000 miles
Please could you tell me what size wheels I can fit without needing modifications and the respective tyre sizes I would need? Also, what is the diameter between the bolts if I were to get non-mercedes wheels? Is anyone selling a nice set? Thanks very much for your time and I look forward to your replies.
Just a note... tomorrow I am looking into how much it would be to get the seats re-upholstered in dark terracota coloured leather (probably a lot, but worth looking into). Car is currently being worked on at bodyshop to get rid of dents and rusty bits... should be very nice and less than 300 EUR... looking forward to seeing it
Thanks, Michal
