C63 Noob

Hi Guys new to this forum so please be kind  i am looking to purchase the c63 amg, just loved the car the first time i drove it, however in a dilemma either going for the pre face lift or post facelift?

Any help to which one to choose? am leaning towards the facelift as its a nice place to be in but the non facelifts look more mean, however just concerned about the MCG gearbox with the overheating issues? I dont think it should be an issue for me as got other cars for track use and will just be used as a second/weekend car.

Any help will be much appreciated!

P.S Just coming out of an RS4 if that helps lol

Thanks for the replies guys, am leaning for the facelift as way better interior. Also will be looking for subtle mods to make the slight difference? What good mods are out there for the AMG?

Thanks:thumb:

Mods for C63 go from fairly straightforward to pretty much as much as your willing to spend

I don't even have one but the norm seems to be a quaife lsd, eurocharged map and an ipe exhaust? Or gutted cat and resonator delete :dk:

Think I got that right?! Lol

To be fair want to keep it straightforward, nothing like a supercharger as wont be tracking it. The LSD in my opinion is not a must but i guess its down to opinion, I drove one without LSD and it was solid enough. Also thought the exhaust on the merc was pretty good standard compared to my RS4, but thats the mods am leaning towards, exhaust, gutted cat, res delete and remap. Any good merc specialist in lancashire area?

Make the trip to MSL performance

A map and LSD are a must for first mods. Oh and maybe a resonator delete....

The LSD is, IMO essential. Really plants the car down and stops all that silliness of the traction light constantly being on.

I'm also in Lancashire, and the only people who do mine are MSL in Birmingham. Around two hours away but they know what they're doing with AMG and they look after you. ;)
