Sorry! My mistake: two different cars in one thread has evidently overwhelmed my excuse for a brain.

The "£20k" claim is more ****-eyed nonsense than Marty Feldman on a good day.

It's laughable how many owners claim "just needs [x]" and "easily fixed": if it's so simple and cheap why haven't they done it? We all know why.

Exactly,I've never understood why people bother about mileage on old cars ( unless it's extremely low ie under 10,000) Condition is everything,rust and deterioration of ruber/plastic parts will cause a car to become scrap.having half a million miles on the clock won't.
