Pretty much.

It's tight down there. Always loads of wealthy/retired folk and little old dears popping to the shops/out for coffee etc.

Must have been quite a sight!

It's odd how the most innocuous of tasks can end in disaster.

(dons metaphorical tin helmet) Was it a woman driver?

I used to drink in the Albion!

I lived a short walk away, in Wolsey Road :)

I didn't know Russ Swift had switched from Minis to A-Classes for his demonstrations?!

Reminds me of the time when, in a quiet and necessarily slow side-road next to Harpenden's Classics on the Common (as the show was happening), an elderly driver managed to invert his/her car. How on earth that happened in a road that, because of narrowness and parked cars, rarely sees anyone at any time of day doing more that 20-ish is beyond me, but happen it did, and no other vehicle was involved.

Lost control of auto and reversed up over the front of the VW?

Either that or somebody with a toupe and numeric designation has done chase around the local casinos and then got the escape through the back alley a bit wrong. You could have checked for this by photographing from the front - due to a relativistic continuity quantum spin effect the ML would have appeared to have its driver's side wheels in the air against the VW and the passenger side on the ground.

That'll teach the Polo driver for parking in a merc's space.:D

It's a one way street ....

Looking at the damage to the rear quarter of the polo , it appears she has mounted it there ....

The CVT transmissions get some retaliation in for the rubber band jokes. :wallbash:

She? Is that a sexist assumption? Or did you catch sight of the driver.
You're probably correct of course.

Bound to be .... ;)

EDIT:-

I've just spoken to someone who saw it happen and it was in fact a late 30's woman ....
