He was violating a rule of advertising by mentioning other car manufacturers like BMW M5 & M3 in the advert name which would mean he would get more interest, this is not allowed according to ebay.

i personally really prefure the black rims as it looks different..

and whoever said the the reason it went was th eadvert saying M3 M5 they were correct!!!! got plenty of interest but couldn't bring myself to part with it in the end?

Welcome to the forum then palmer3914. Yes ebay are very strict on these rules and are very quick to notice this too. Seen your gallery thread of your car and I think it does look very nice. The black rims and grill may not be to everyones taste but I dont think they look half bad would prefer them original though. Why not colour code the bottom half of the handles or better yet buy some pre chrome/painted handles from the facelift model, would look better with them painted me thinks.

I like your E55, and am a fan of those black wheels. Are they genuine AMG? They of the 65 AMGs /SL 55 Performance pack design aren't they?

I bet it flies with the remap and derestriction

yeah the old girl moves ok since the re-map...... but then again she went ok b4 as well......
