Thanks SG1.

To be honest, I hadn’t clocked the rear wheels when I skimmed through earlier - I just noticed it was a genuine ‘36 and the comments regards bodykit, cluster, steering wheel etc were obviously incorrect.

The front wheels are probably from the same period C36 set (W202) - same wheel design, tyre (225/45/17) and rim dimensions (17x7.5J) but ET35 instead of 42 (No mention the 245/40s in the description)

1995 Mercedes-AMG E36 Coupe

I was just surprised that on a Mercedes enthusiast forum so many people called into question the car being genuine or not. You can see the AMG factory build stickers in the engine bay :)

Looks like someone got a lovely car for £13.5K.

I knew someone would take exception to my statement - I didn’t say *all* German cars, did I! :D

I knew what you meant buddy ;) :D

That’s a lovely looking car. That Tourmaline green looks great in the sun:thumb:

This is my one in Tourmaline green, it's the earliest one I've seen so far being an August 1994 (M reg).

Note the standard wheels, bodykit, and exhaust.
What a stunner. As a matter of interest was the ducktail spoiler an option at the time as well.

I only ask as i am a fan of the AMG ducktail, really makes a huge difference to the look of the 90's cars.

Yes you are correct! The ducktails were more common on Gen 1 earlier AMG W124's etc but was an option on the later facelift cars too.

I 100% agree with you and I have a ducktail which will definitely be going on the car in the future!
