Here is the problem with all these type's of "iconic" cars. They are always a compromise of some sort (usually many) but something about them makes us crave them.

230bhp was probably the norm for super saloons then - Escort Cosworth was 224bhp

Why?! I think thats a great shout... The SLS Gullwing's have gone up considerably in value since the new shape came out and MB announced they wont be making the new ones in gullwing form..

Besides that, they are amazing looking machines with amazing performance...I love 190E's but would easily rather have a SLS and keep £70K in the bank!
