What he wants for the car, i would consider as high, but its very tempting to me as I love SEC's and one with this kit may never be offered again.
Saying that, its not impossible to source a widebody kit.

The genuine widebody's are very hard to come by, they were never fibreglass/plastic, they were metal fabrications...which if He says the wings are rusting, this sounds like a factory AMG kit, which in itself is probably worth more than the car.

Yes they are rare, but it starts to get silly when you think that a car such as this will have cost £15-20K once its in a state that I would call immaculate.

For this money there are many other classics that I would love to own..

At the end of the day are some flared arches worth paying that much for?

yes I was having that conversation with KLP and im undecided too... its just the rarity of the widebody that makes it so appealing, not necessarily the aesthetics...

LOVE the black wood. And the leather (apart from driver's bolster) looks to be in great condition.

Is the engine any different to a standard SEC?
