I was in Paignton and it would have been very rude not to scrounge a cuppa :D - ten minutes turned into nearly an hour and a quarter!

Left at 6.00pm but the weather was dire last night, and with external temperatures hitting -7/-8 my washers froze, then the fog froze as well in sympathy. I finally got home just before 11.00pm

John & Gloria were the gracious hosts as ever and it made a very pleasant break in my journey :)

    Thanks again John

I have to say that John and Gloria make everyone feel welcome. Possibly the worlds best hosts.

Agreed, having had the pleasure and honour to meet the family in the summer.

John - so lovely to see you back again, hope you are feeling a trifle (Gloria does make exquisite trifles!) better.

Happy New Year, may 2009 be a more comfortable year for you.

    Nat

    I would have popped round too...but I didn't.

    I was 600miles away. Sorry.
