Basically the email scammer has been scammed for £20 !!!!

Talking of scams this is what i got today....

I got an e-mail today informing me that my new P3 Direct 17" Wide TFT Notebook with Pentium 4 3.06GHz Power was not being delivered within the specified timescale. I Havent ordered any such item. The e-mail continued:


We are very sorry, but we can't deliver it to you in promised terms, because we have problems with our delivering company. Your order can not be delivered earlier than in 28 days.
Sorry for inconveniences.

You have been billed and if time of delivery do not arrange you, you can cancel your order and refund money here:

http://www.billpayusa.org/clients/cn.php?refund=aXBheWZhc3hc3R8aXBheWZhc3Qu=

Following the above link takes you to a site where you can conveniently leave your debit card details or your bank details - depending on which method by which you'd prefer to be totally fleeced.

I wonder how many fools have fallen for this already..?

Some are clearly the work of a hopeful moron, but a few are dangerously plausable, especially those which use cloaked links & in all respects look and read very much like the sort of thing you might get from a pukka organisation (e.g. the PayPal "Security Warning")
