does anyone use a r4 revolution or a dstt card with their ds lite games console, thinking of getting one for my niece

yup i have got the R4 cards - pm if you need any info on them

"DS Firecards" dont need sd memory and so less to lose for a young person.

They go for about £23 for a 1gb to about £30 for a 2gb.

Of course I would never encourage anyone to use such a thing.

Go for the M3 Simply - is still available.

I bought 4 of them from Mobymemory about 9 months ago... working a treat...

PM me if you need any help with anything... ;)

i have an R4 and it works with every game i've tried. great, but you might get bored quicker with too much choice! also, do you really want to turn your niece into a copyright infringer?

my daughter has one and 30+ games and ive looked at these

but how does it remember your score and is it limited to 3 or 4 like most games ?

Its remembers the scores by creating a .sav file in the same folder - one per game.

You're second question is confusing - you can store as manay games as will fit on your memory card - 30-40 is normla - but some of the later games are larger....

Then again for ease of use, sticking a 2Gb is adequate, 4gb is manageable - above 4 is not recommended - you will be forever scrolling through the menus to select your game too many on there.

I've been following this thread with interest... might be worth putting a poll up to see which card wins by popular concensus ;) (yes, I am looking for one too :p)

Ive been using a M3 simply & a M3DS real for quite a while (for running homebrew etc:D ).
Both very good with no problems. Just upgraded to a 4Gb card for the M3DS real:cool:
