Hoping someone can help or at least point me in the right direction.
Had to brake suddenly (cows on road) and my FDS brake line burst. Further inspection showed that they were badly corroded.
Replaced the lines, couldn't get any pressure in the lines after this. Thought it was possibly the master cylinder, so changed this. Still no pressure.
Mechanic said that when he manually pressurises the system, fluid pours out when bleeding all 4 valves. However, once this is removed the pressure drops.
Could there be air trapped in the ABS pump? Mech said that he's using the latest version of launch 2021, but the ABS pump is showing as not available for my model.
Mechanic has gave the car back to me as he doesn't have access to STAR to do any more.
Car is 2007 C220 diesel. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
