Sorry, that is what I was trying to say, it is not the DAB units, it is the antennas that let them down on oem, they seem to be a compromise on asthetics.

The DAB in my E220 works fine.
I get a little 'broken' reception heading around Devon (shadow of Dartmoor) but not always.
On my UK wide travels it never drops at all normally.
Listening to Planet Rock most of the day.

As for previous comments on touch screen media (like the VW) that is gash.
Trying to hit buttons whilst traversing bumpy roads is a joke.
Better to familiarise oneself with the exceptionally good voice control in the MB.
