Hi everyone

re: 2004 Vito - W639

My vans full dash goes off when when I start the engine. No display, no headlights, no indicators, etc radio, inter cabin light works.

the battery voltage when engine is running is 14.2v. Battery when ignition off 12.6v

When i put key in initially, eis module eis /ignition switch recognises key, I move key to position 1, everything on dash works... and once I start the the engine - it fires up but lose all My dash lights and nothing controlled by steering wheel and lights etc works, window switches don’t work too.

I did have key issue where is would not recognise the fob but that was repaired by changing the copper coil on the fob pcb. Since then the van starts up fine.

But now this issue. Any ideas? Any suggestions.

Prior to key issue a few days ago van was perfect.

any help much appreciated

Also I have checked fuses under the bonnet they are all ok. Also 2 fuses under passenger seat are ok. Any more fuses I need to check?

Don't know if you're still around, OP, but have you tried scanning the van for fault codes?
