No heater blower on W202!

Can anybody help with this one?

Not given any thorough investigation really but I have no blower. The panel is obviously still working because the EC light comes on when I adjust the fan. Swapped the fuse with another but still no joy.

Any suggestions?

Hmmmmm, welcome to the wonderful world of w202 electric gremlins. I have found with mine that there is nothing orribly wrong with the electrics on these cars. Just niggles due to their age. I would check heater controls for dry joints, thats what i found on mine.

IMHO the two most likely causes for this are either worn brushes or failed speed controller. A quick search of the forum will reveal some discussion on these subjects
