hello,
not sure if electric or something else, but these are steps on what happened and outcome and wondering on thoughts really.
drove to work - about 25mile of meandering a-road -> NO Issues at all
drove to kids swimming to pick them up - as uphill parking put handbrake on & left in 1st gear & turned wheel away from curb - so fully loaded incase anything should break!!
so far so good
get back to car, open remote boot & unlock all ok
radio works, fag lighter works, interior lights work, remote boot lock work
put key in to start and nothing, zip, nada
no lights on dash at all
unable to undo steering lock as electronic
lock & unlock - same outcome
tried other key - same outcome
locked and managed to set alarm off - unlocked all ok and alarm off
so seems like car recognises key but doing nothing!
called aa and they spent 1hr doing all they know and now it is at garage waiting to be looked at
he did fuse checks & battery checks & full ecu reset
any thoughts on what could be issue?
thanks, neil
