Interesting they say positioning would be too close to the CLS - but won't that be the case anyway with less powerful variants of the larger incoming coupe?

I think its a real shame. The CLK is great (I would say that wouldn't I) as it meets my needs perfectly where as the E class coupe is I htink a little too big for my taste.

i was looking at the E Class when i was at the dealership today &, as lovely as it is, we won't be going in that direction either when the time comes to px the CLK.

If you read the bottom of the articale also mentions that the new AMG CLS will have a
V8 twin Turbo.......now that will be interesting!

Mercedes has had problems with the position of the E-Coupe for years. It is entirely sensible and realistic to build fewer AMG models at this time.

Never mind, just wait for the Brabus E class W212 with the biturbo V12... you know it makes sense.

I can't see MB resisting a detuned AMG motor in the E coupe, it's more competition for the CL than the CLS really.

I dont know anyone wanting to buy a CL and driving home in an E.

that new cls might have the new TT v8! sounds hot
