no oil to the camshaft

1977 mercedes 230 gas engine no oil coming to the top any idea please oil pressure is good at the oil filter ,this car had head gasket problem ,mechanic fixed the head gasket now no oil to the top of the engine thank you

I don't know that engine, but I can immediately think of a couple of things; the mechanic has left an external oil feed pipe disconnected (unlikely as you have good pressure and haven't reported a leak), or the mechanic has fitted the head gasket incorrectly and it is blocking an oilway.

If its the M115 engine there are removable steel balls that seal the main oil ducts. Maybe you have lost a ball ? as above, presumably a 115 engine - my guess is headgasket upside down.
