hi everyone.
I have an ML2.7 2004. I have just had a star diagnosis done, as I have no power above 3000 rpm. The turbo has been serviced new seals etc. nothing with that. Mass air glow been replaced, again nothing wrong with that. The other air sensor at the front of the engin been cleaned and checked, nothing wrong with that. The other censor on the opposite side of the radiator in the boost pipe near the egr was cleaned and checked nothing wrong with that either. The vacuum actuator works perfect as does the egr unit and vacuum.
The car drives perfect and is almost immaculate condition inside and out. Spent money keeping it all up together with all genuine Mercedes parts oil, filters etc. full complete service history!
After the star diagnosis today 12-20-2023 it gave a fault that there is no power to the air mass meter!!!!! The Mercedes mechanic with over 40 years experience says he has never encountered this problem before, therefore cannot help me… is there anyone out there that has had this problem ? If so what was the remedy? It is very annoying! Apart from that the car drives and sounds like a new car. Scraping the car is out of the question…
