No sound out of audio speakers

we had the car s55 on a star diagnostic when we were doing some testing.. sound did come on now and again. But once we finished there is no sound, pulled all the fuses to do a sort reset and changed the one in the amplifier with a new fuse...still no joy. Also sun roof message on dash close tilt and slide roof. It's closed and normalised. Don't open it as hardly moves.

I had a brand new battery that went dead after 3 weeks, bought another one and all good, my mate who's a mercedes mechanic and he hooked up his star to look for any faults but no drain in any consumer components. An
