There's a "k-d-lunk" noise coming from the rear right of the car if I give it some stick off the line - had a look for loose wheelnuts and stuff but all seems to be in order - anyone got any clues? Doesn't happen under braking or cornering, just from standstill. Have just spend an hour removing all the crap from the boot as it sounded like something was rolling around in there...

This could be the propshaft couplings, or if your car has alot of mileage it could be the diff, but i doubt it.

Turns out it's a rear subframe bush -on order...

Usually with that type of clunkin it can be the propshaft couplings, rear subframe bushes or the diff mounts.

Hi Guys, sorry to drag this thread up again, but I've got a clunkin type noise coming from the rear when the car is in drive and I've stopped at lights etc. If I slip the car into neutral the noise goes away, but as soon as I put it in drive the noise comes back. The noise is quite hard to described, but it's a kind of clunking/tapping.
