Noise from wheels at low speeds..??

Hi all

On my c class I can hear a slight noise coming from one of the wheels.

Not exactly a grinding noise but there is friction somewhere. (Can hear it well low speed in a multi storey car park) otherwise wouldn't be able to tell really. Just a bit annoying!

Any ideas before I have the wheels off????

Also do merc brakes squeak when low on pads or does a warning come up (2008 c220 cdi sport)

It could be a few things. There could be a stone wedged between a pad and disc, or a caliper could be a bit sticky and leaving a pad in contact with a disc, or a backing shield could be rubbing on a disc to name but a few.

Best get the wheels off and have a look.
