CAn anyone recommend and indie garage in North London that knows how to change and test a heater motor. I have an Intermittent noise when heating or ac is on above coldest point. I don't think it's the fan or brushes as it does not get faster or slower when heater is turned up or down. At the coldest setting there is no noise. Weird?

Well I removed the heater blower motor and the sound a humming noise is coming from elsewhere it is not the blower. I wonder if there is another fan besides the big cooling fan on rad?

I would check the hand brake cable has not came loose under the heat shield as this is exactly the same noise I had and would have swore it was heater fan worth a try and a cheap fix. Good luck

It's seems my heater blower A/C problem is getting worse the ac now randomly shuts down all together. And will restart when it wants. The buzzing noise seems to be coming from the engine compartment not from the blower heater fan. A heater booster pump is now the suspected culprit as the noise and vibrations seems to be coming from here.

I have changed the duo valve or change over valve. The buzzing noise is gone and I had heat for several days now it has shut down completely.
