finally rebuilt!!!

I will compress the other images but I have basically done a whole front end rebuild. Galved the chassis hammerited everything! new plugs Kevlar clutch new coils replaced cam chain, flywheel wheel, overhauled gearbox. new drive shafts. overhauled throttle body. repaired exhaust. new starter. alternator.etc etc. any mechanical advise needed pm me. I now know this vehicle inside out

Cheers Tony. Labour of love really. Most would say its not worth it but It does drive like new now. It's rapid. I've just ordered a full suspension kit and ebc rear brakes so the rear end is having an overhaul after Christmas then it should be good for another 15 years. Subtle remap maybe if anyone recommends anywhere?
Doesn't need much more horse power though as it will struggle to lay it down but a bit more torque may improve fuel economy

last lot!.................Kevlar clutch by Black Diamond drives as standard but can cope with up to 250bhp.

That's one hell of a project, you have my respect ! Good pics too. That all rather sounds like the result of the bloody DMF breaking up, hateful things. Good luck, look forward to seeing the result.

Thanks Martin. I couldn't find a solid mass convertion. I did consider welding up the dmf and getting it balanced but as the pressure plate isn't sprung I though the knock on affect for the transmission and mounts would be too severe. It drives beautifully
