Nokia 6150

I removed the cradle from my 209.....was useless and looked much better without it. Only took a few minutes to remove.

....and not a great "after" shot but the only one I have.

The cradle in my R129 is mounted on an extension to the centre console (AFAIK this is an original MB part). No idea how it's retained but I didn't want to remove it and risk finding holes etc. underneath.

Those phones were great.
Simpler times.....

PS cars not too shabby either - what an engine

You only needed to charge them about once a year too! We have two around here somewhere... one that came with the R170 and one with the C209!

Yep.
I occasionally drag out the glove on one and make a call to keep the PAYG account going. But it rarely needs charging.

I think we've got at least 2 Nokias hidden away at Chez Spiky;
Edit: we've got 3...one is an emergency phone in Mrs Spiky's car glovebox.
I may have a modest collection of mobile phones, especially Nokia, with many in their original box and a few still even sealed. I have a few iconic phones in there too.

It’s fair to say that active collecting stopped many years ago, and very soon after Mrs D stumbled into my home office to find me updating my spreadsheet listing them all 👀

From memory it clips behind the centre console and has a single screw into the carpet section (which disappears when removed).

My 2003 SL 500 still has the Nokia 6210 inside the arm rest ! I just leave it there as it looks so 'right' - Indestructible phones!
The one in the ad I linked to looks like it still works too.
