Not fully understanding this SL 320/600

I havent been following the R230 market is there a significant price difference between a 320 and 600?

I'm always dubious of vehicles like this and in the back of my head I'm thinking it's been involved in a crash and not recorded and the owners of these type of vehicles then get rid of them and other do these type of conversions to them , but that's just my thoughts

That's is a w129 converted in to a w230 back in my country that conversions were very popular but that is due to car prices they much more expensive than here per example a sl320 129 would cost you 10k and a sl350 230 would set you back around 30k so someone on a budget for one of those that would be the perfect match.
I don't particularly like that conversions because the w129 IMHO is a very nice car and don't need to be hidden under fibreglass panels!!!

Agree ... You can't even sell most of it for spares.

Also the TVs ... My tiny 5 year olds have to sit with their legs folded to get in. Who will be in the back to watch?
