Sounds great AMGeed.

However. We're all different. F1 very boring to many but I'll always adore it. Whatever floats ya boat eh?

Being a bike lover have you ever been to the TT? They say it's a right buzz. I'd love to go for the weekend.

It's on my "to do" list Ant. Having watched just about every you tube video on the TT it still amazes me the bottle those riders have to do over 200mph on narrow roads with no run off if there is a mistake or bike component failure. Imagine covering 38 miles at an average speed of 132mph!

I still enjoy the F1, but even the most diehard fan will concede the excitement has gone. Either one team/driver dominating or pitstops being the only way to overtake doesn't float my boat so much.

Check out this last lap at Catalunya with teammates Lorenzo and Rossi have a good battle. Now that is racing.

Yes. Those TT Boys have some balls. I'd love to go. Must make a promise to myself.

Understand and agree F1 is struggling but I'm/we're still hooked on it. Love everything about it TBH. Looking forward to my tour around McLaen this year with my wife & daughter. Aside from the racing a love the whole F1 show. My only wish is that my team bounce back eventually. Saddens me to be so poor. It'll be a few more years yet I think.

Yes, Moto races are unbelievable to watch. 2 riders exchanging positions half dozen times per lap.

Cheers bud.

Did the McClaren tour a few years ago and Lewis popped in to do a Q&A which capped off a great evening - even if he seems to be drifting a bit when not driving these days (those earings and fashion statements )

An amazing place with a garage cleaner than a operating theatre

I wonder how the mood is there both after last season and ahead of the next. Have they achieved the step up needed?

TT is on the bucket list (to attend, not do!)

^ I'm not sure what Nic Hamilton and Steve Jones can add to the programme, but its basically the old BBC team + a selection of ex drivers. Alain Prost knows his stuff and should be a welcome addition.
It's still not up to Sky's commentary team though, but its free to air.

Johnny Herbert, annoying little know all, otherwise Sky's okay, give us back Jake Humphries
on the BBC with full live fixtures please.

I think Nick Hamilton can/will hold his own. Racing has been in his family for years and also a driver too. At least he has actual racing experience. Unlike many of the team. I actually quite like his personality. A genuine guy me thinks.

I don't mind Jonny either. But I agree about Jake. I think he was great at being the main man presenter. I've got used to Simon over time.

I know it'll never happen but sometimes I think it'd be great to have a comedy team member to add some quality humour. :dk:

Can't wait for next weekend. Hopefully McHonda will be a few places further up the grid. :D

What are the panel's thoughts on the revised qualifying set up?

Need to see it in action first. Any change is always controversial.

Let's see if it survives the first few races....

Personally I loved the old quality. 1 hour, as many runs as you wanted and as many tyres too. Low fuel.

As far as I remember they changed it because of slow cars spoiling laps. (But this is same for everyone. :dk:)

.....and, there were times when no cars on track due to all waiting for better weather conditions. No good for fans or TV.

I say bring back the one hour quality. And each driver must do out lap, flying lap and in lap every 15 minutes. (Minimum.) this way the fans see plenty of action.

However, as said, let's see how it goes.

Worst quality for me was when they went out in reverse order from previous race result, out lap, flying lap, in lap. Then same again but reversed. That one hours weather decided pole. Silly idea and glad they changed it. 2004 I think. I was at silverstone that year. Kimi on pole for McLaren. Schumi won and did 4 stops.

I so hope there's some competition this year and it's not another domination.

I'd just like to see some genuine racing.

I think the three sessions that we've had for the last few years has served us well, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Concentrate on the things that do need fixing.
