A guy at work is thinking about this..... Linky linky,, he reckons for about £10k for parts from Non Ferrari supplier to fix  . Looks like it could be a money pit to me....!

Looks like a new shell to me, there's no way on earth you're getting parts for that for £10K.

I'd be surprised if it was repaired, more likely broken for parts.

I'm no expert on accident repair, but that looks dead to me!

Come on guys, use you imagination:

1. A Ferrari Sofa and two arm chairs
2. A Ferrari grill to hang in the garage
3. A Ferrari engine coffee table (glass sold seperately)
4. Ferrari Bar made from the back end of a 456
5. Ferrari dash alarm clock
6. Just imagine a full 456 Exhaust system hanging from the ceiling of the games room!
7. God knows how many Ferrari paper weights
8. Genuine Ferrari keyring
9. Wall lights made from the rear lights
10. Desk lamp made from the front lights
10. etc etc etc etc
11. Framed Ferrari log box to hang on the wall

Recycling....the possibilities are endless!!!

LOL I was looking at this shot wondering what the heck you lot were on about...."it's not 'too' bad...." me thinks...."that's only a little dent really...."

Then I see this one...

That poor bloke must have been absolutely gutted!

That poor bloke must have been absolutely gutted!

Why? because he wrote off his car or his pants???:D

I bet he takes corners featuring trees and/or lamp posts a little more slow nowadays!!

LOL he was totally showing off by the sound of what happened!

Not a chance.

£20K plus what ever to fix... Say your mates 10k covers it (I doubt it)

You can have this... with only 13K miles for £37K or a deal for £35K?

The original advert is on piston heads by the way.

£20k for a write-off--- he's havin' a laugh. Maybe if you have a good un in shed somewhere with a blown engine/gearbox --otherwise what would be the point? That blue does the car no favours either--- looks better in green or red

Have to beg to differ there, that colour is one of the best colours IMO. Anyway green cars are unlucky ;) ;)

...and why oh why did he only have 3rd party insurance only. If you can afford a 456 then you can afford fully comp insurance.

P.S

I love the quote about the car picking up speed as it slid on the mud. Simple equation I guess:

Boasting about speed = actual speed + 10mph

Carshing at speed = actual speed - 10mph
