hey all, well replaced the lower steering coupler with a good s/hand one and the clonking noise was still there. i replaced the shocks and the r/hand stab. link previously, but very light bouncing on the right fender and the clonking sill remained.
thought it could be the l/hand stab link so disconnected that and guess what , no noise ,so put the old r/hand one on, which ill replace, and went for a drive and that was the problem.
it was a clonking that was so rapid/almost constant at lower speeds (just because i could hear it easier) rather than an odd clonk when hitting a bump or rough patch.
next mission going on, is fitting a small subwoofer/amp for some bass frequencies to supplement the door speakers.
