Was doing an oil change the other day and noticed an oil leak. I can't seem to understand where it is coming from. Can someone please help?
Also could someone advise on the rubber connecter attached to the oil line connected to the transmission in the picture, it seems to be flimsy. I wonder if the rubber part is joining two pipes or there just as a damper of some sort. Thank you

Best clean it all up so the leak is evident .
Check the cars oil level

Cheers mate for the reply. I will clean up today. What do you think the rubber grommet type thing in the second pic is?

It looks like a rubber insulated bracket for the pipe

Looks very messy, is this the engine that suffers bad oil cooler seals ?
