The holiday may not be cancelable, but you can move it to a different day later in the year, then as you get closer, move it again to the botg date for 2026!

@daveenty - I have moved my unrefundable booking to January 31st next year. By then we will know the new date and I will move it again to BOTG 2026. I rang up Premier Inn yesterday and they confirmed that I am OK to do that.

The pub has since been re booked..

I have spoken to the manageress at The Hut this afternoon. She is more than happy to help out should we be in need of a venue.
I just need to keep her informed of numbers and times…

The food is good, it is quite a big venue and do have a booking fee if you wish to guarantee a spot. This is fully refundable at the bar or shop, less an admin fee of £0.79p.

Don’t need to book but perhaps see how many people are interested and take it from there.

On a driving note… each road leading to the cross roads has average speed cameras and 50 is the number.

I had already booked a slot at The Hut from 11am on the day/10th May as I had never been there anyway and don't want to lose the day (or the drive out) to chores and family jobs....

So I'll be there from then, for a bit (and a coffee etc)
