MB Slough has replaced both NOX censors of my E-220 Bluetec (31 July 2015 model) in August 2018. While the car was still under warranty. Because stop and start was not working and the dashboard constantly showed yellow ECO light. I took my car to George Fraser garage in Uxbridge for diagnostics and they have confirmed that it requires downstream after Kat NOX sensor. Garage has also confirmed that there is two years guarantee with any MB electrical parts.
My question is since I am not under warranty anymore and the last two services were carried out privately. Will MB Slough will honor their warranty and replace the NOX sensor free of charge. Or will I have to foot the bill? Will they consider it under goodwill? Thank you.
