Hi, have a C200 petrol W205 and came up with P2200 fault. MB couldn't supply a new sensor so I got the part no from them (0009054410) and sourced it through Xenons. When I came to fit it, the sensor that was on it had a different part no (0009053503) so I spoke to MB and Xenons and they said that was for a diesel car. I checked with the previous owner and he had never had it replaced and I checked with MB and they hadn't replaced it under warranty. So I am assuming it has been on there from new, it certainly looks like it condition wise also. I was told by MB to replace it with the 4410 part number as that is correct but Xenons said replace it with the one with the same number that came out of it even though its for a diesel. I went with MB's advice and fitted the correct numbered one. I then took it to them to program as I had fault code P225d. They took a little while to get it to recognise the new part but it eventually came up as 'regognised'. However the light came back on 40 miles later with the same code (P225d). I don't know what to do next, replace it with the original part number (diesel version) seems wrong or try a regen to clean the cat? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
