Hi, have a C200 petrol W205 and came up with P2200 fault. MB couldn't supply a new sensor so I got the part no from them (0009054410) and sourced it through Xenons. When I came to fit it, the sensor that was on it had a different part no (0009053503) so I spoke to MB and Xenons and they said that was for a diesel car. I checked with the previous owner and he had never had it replaced and I checked with MB and they hadn't replaced it under warranty. So I am assuming it has been on there from new, it certainly looks like it condition wise also. I was told by MB to replace it with the 4410 part number as that is correct but Xenons said replace it with the one with the same number that came out of it even though its for a diesel. I went with MB's advice and fitted the correct numbered one. I then took it to them to program as I had fault code P225d. They took a little while to get it to recognise the new part but it eventually came up as 'regognised'. However the light came back on 40 miles later with the same code (P225d). I don't know what to do next, replace it with the original part number (diesel version) seems wrong or try a regen to clean the cat? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi mate!
Did you solve the problem?
I had the same problem, i changed the nox sensor that was on it(0009053503) with a new identical sensor. After 30 km the light came back with the code P22FA85 (The switchover between the maximum
and minimum values of NOX sensor 1 (cylinder
bank 1) is too slow. There is a signal above the
permissible limit value)
what should i do next?

I have a 2.0l c200 sport and replaced the original sensor with one from xenons the engine light came back on after 60miles will get the lads in the workshop to plug into diagnostics on Tues and see what the codes are. Pics is off nox sensor I took off and I replaced with Xenons4U A0009054410 A3C01131200-612Screenshot_20230416_203940_Gallery.jpg

Why did you changed it with another code?

That's what came up off the dealer website number and xenons4u said that was the direct replacement

You need to get the original mercedes part. These aftermarket replacements are no good and frequently give issues after a while.

Mercedes found and sourced me a nox sensor in less than 3 months.

Did you solve the ptoblem?

Nothing to do with resetting the stored values?

My Nox sensor on my 2016 C200SE s205 started throwing up faults at 176k miles. My independent replaced the entire unit. The whole Mercedes unit £384 A0009056204. I think I got my money's worth. Also, the petrol Nox sensor did not require coding to the vehicle like diesels, where there are 2 sensors and a heating element (as it was explained to me). My car is now on 195,000 miles. No problems at all. These Nox sensors are a pain and expensive. I preferred to buy a new unit that the independent could return to the dealer if it was not up to scratch.

Hi did you find a solution? I have the same problem. Even let the guys at MB program the sensor but still the same issue
Hi! I will go to the MB to check the fault and order new sensor.
