NTG 2.5 phone problem

Had this back in a while now, but getting reports that callers cannot here me well, sound like I am under water?
Must be a mic problem as I can here fine.

You have just retrofitted the unit havent you so check the connections are okay. If they are must need a new mic, I guess the only way to confirm is to try another.

Check the volume settings on the phone screen. You can up transmission volume.

I have had the unit out today and re routed the wire incase it was noise from another wire but still the same.
I put a radio on in the van and went to listen what other could here on another phone and it sounds poor, must be the mic.
Going to try and find a genuine vito mic to fit the space in the light over head.
For now here must be a mic I can buy that is very good that I can use.
