The manual for NTG 2.5 says it only supports upto 2GB SD cards and doesnt support SDHC cards.

Has anyone been able to use anything larger than 2GB, or tried for example a 4GB micro sd card using a micro sd to SD adapter?

Thanks.

I don't have the SD card interface but isn't the 4 GB micro SD card an SD HC card equally, why would the SD interface accept this card? Hopefully I'm wrong.

I just find it funny when the W221 PCMCIA card interface has been called outdated when it supports SD HC cards without problems, and multiple other cards as well.

I have seen 4GB micro-sd cards that just have SD printed on them and not SDHC but I guess it is probably the same as SD cards with all cards over 2GB being the SDHC type.

Edit: Just checked and them non SDHC 4GB cards are Micro M2 so not the same as Micro SD which are only non SDHC upto 2GB.

Just a quick update to this. Before the SDHC standard there were 4GB SD cards available. They are harder to find for sale now as most places sell 4GB SDHC and they cost more than a SDHC card.

They seem to be more widely available in the USA and the most popular one seems to be theTranscend 4GB Ultra Speed 133x SD card. I ordered one of these from Amazon UK and formatted it to the FAT file system and it works fine in the NTG2.5.

I'm using a 16gb SDHC in my ML, works a treat. I understood the limit was 32Gb

I am using 4GB cards and works fine - (I think the limit lies in the number of songs-MP3s - which should not be more than 1000)
