ntg 4 navi map

I mounted a comand hige cd changer updated the software from mercedes to the latest for ntg4 they added to vedoc 512 and removed 523 audio 20 and scn coded the car

I updated the maps with this disk A2048270400 all work clockwise

but a friend told me that there is a wrong DVD but I should have A2128273300
then I bought it BUT the NAVIGATION does not accept it saying that this DVD is not compatible with this device? It's not right my car is s212 and the car navigator was picked out is a s212

So my question is what can I not load A2128273300? is it because it is older version than A2048270400?

So in the future what DVDs should I buy? W204 OR W212?

Where did the COMAND unit come from - i.e. from another E-Class, or from a C-Class?

If A2048270400 works OK, but A2128273300 does not, perhaps your COMAND unit came from a C-Class?

On another note, very early NTG4 units had an issue with the HDD partition, that prevents them form accepting the latest maps update.

Hi I have retrotitad a comand ntg 4, updated the software in comand withe telematic dvd on mercedes workshop to the latest soft wear and intrument cluster SCN CODED it in my car everything works navi dvd i i removed 523 audio 20 and added 512 comand in vedoc and encoded the entire car
r my cars vin is WDD2120021A641302

The car parts were picked out have wine WDD2073221F031252 E350 CDI COUPE

Maybe it's an older version v12 on w212 dvd therefore it does not accept it

Or will I in future only be able to use w204 update maps and not w212 and what is the difference in the future?

So you have removed an NTG4 unit from a C207? In spite of the E-Class designation (i.e. E350), the C207 is in fact based on the W204, but it uses the NTG4-W212 system, so the correct DVD for your car should have been the W212 one...

What is the difference between ntg4 ntg4,5? i with my ntg4 can stream music yes do the most necessary 4.5 have another color red silver on the display they have to change the instrument panel with
