Ntg 4 or ntg 4.5 need help

Hi yall , im new to this board , quick presentation , im from france TAXI DRIVER , i got a w204 c 220 exec 7gtronic , i would like to know which firmware i own , and which version i got installed , its a retrofit , major information on any kind of help would be great , advance thanks have a great day .

NTG4 and NTG4.5 are not firmware versions, they are two different models of Comand unit. Ask the installer what they have installed.

NTG4.5 is the newer unit with Comand Online so it can use the internet via data connection to a mobile.

i also got sd so i own ntg 4.5 unit, somebody can post a picture of NTG 4 AND ntg 4.5 together , i looked on options and found i got v4 2011 installed , does anyone know the update map v11 gonna get release this year ?? are you recommend to install v10? how much does it cost online , further information would be great

On a W204, NTG4 is pre- Model Year 2012 facelift, i.e it has a flip open display. NTG4.5 is put in for the facelift, with the fixed display

On W212/W207 the changes are less obvious, and COMAND NTG4.5 was put in (in some markets only) before Audio-20 NTG4.5 was put in.

You are talking about map versions, not firmware versions. Firmware is the program for the system.

Latest NTG4.5 version is actually is 2012/2013 V7.0

But you'll have to buy a licence key to install it given it is NTG4.5
