C180K 1.8 SE 05 plate
Hi all,

Had my very first mercedes for about a week now.
C180K CL203 05 plate.
Impulsive buy.
I was looking at changing my 11th old citroen xsara 1.4 next year anyway, but saw the merc for sale and had to bring forward my plans!
Love the car, great to drive.

However, just trying to figure out how to best link my android phone to the audio system (audio 20), to stream music via Bluetooth really.

I've already got a Bluetooth fm transmitter, but I'm not impressed with the audio quality, and it doesn't look great.

Reading through the forums I think they're may be a number of options, but I'm struggling to really find a definitive answer regarding compatibility with the cl203. Could anyone help?

The options I think available to me are ;
-install a uhi connector and then use a Bluetooth adapter on that
-use a parrot system
-use a fiscon kit
-install a ntg2.5 unit

Although I must admit I am confused with what may work and what would be best quality.

I've seen a ntg2.5 unit on eBay (mf2830), and I was wondering if this may be a good solution?

Anyone been through this before? I guess there has.

Many thanks.

I've done a bit more research and think I've concluded that the mf2830 ntg2.5 WILL NOT be compatible with my CL203. I'm therefore back to deciding between;

-comand ntg2.5 unit
-fiscon Bluetooth pro kit or
-installing uhi connector and Bluetooth adapter

I'm leaning towards the fiscon kit, as it is cheaper, but does anyone have a view on the quality of Bluetooth streaming? As it is this I'm really after. Not so worried about sat nav, I have that on my phone. Main requirement is good Bluetooth streaming, second, good phone call capability.

Thanks.
