Hi
in2digi have now launched their fully integrated (i.e use it via the head unit's DAB controls as shown in the car's manual) for NTG4.5 cars.
See https://www.commandonline.co.uk/in2digi-D-MB-2.html
The NTG4.5 car's head unit needs to have a fibre optic connection, which means it needs to be COMAND (i.e have a SD card slot on the control panel) or be an Audio-20 with CD changer to support this.
Default is to fit it with a discrete windscreen antenna, but this unit can support the factory (hidden) antenna amplifier system being retrofitted.
Talk to the Alfie at Mercedes Retrofit Specialist - Comand.co.uk if you want it fitted
As its new and you're coming from the forum, he'll give the first few installations a bit more of a discount.
And it's significantly cheaper than going with the full factory retrofit which is normally about £1400 as the genuine parts are so expensive.
And we think it is more sensitive (i.e works with weaker signals) and sounds better than the factory NTG4.5 DAB tuner which we always thought was not as robust as the previous factory (NTG2.5/NTG3/NTG4) system.
Cheers
Richard
