I think the word "copy" would put me off

Its a copy. It would be (a) illegal for you to use it unless you have an original. (b) although the vendors of these rip off disks always say "nothing every breaks" we have had a number of customers with destroyed COMAND units as a result of these copied disks - this happens for 2 reasons (a) there is a firmware update done as part of the new map - if this goes wrong unit becomes a brick (b) in the case of COMANDs that have the DVD left in them (rather than a hard disk version) they run hot and the lasers die quicker.
