Number plate holder

Hi GLK I really liked the plates you got so ordered some for my car as well mate.

The back looks so much better now, cheers for the link pal

The front surround proved a bit tricky to fit with it being slightly curved

But after a bit of fettling and bending I got it fixed on OK ish.

Cheers
Ben:D

And thanks again GLK for the idea with the embossed plates:thumb:

I might get a set but with the GB logo

For some reason I'm getting bored of mine without it lol

I run gel plates on all of my cars... this plate is about 2/ 3 years old. Still looks good.

No worries Ben, really glad you're happy with these :thumb:

I think the combination of the sporty silver car, the clean-lines branded silver holder, and your pressed plates is absolutely spot on, and looks brilliant!

Hi David I was interested in them but are the MOT compliant ?

Cheers mate

I have had these embossed plates for a couple of years, no problems with either MOT since fitting them.

METAL HYDRAULICALLY PRESSED EMBOSSED CAR NUMBER PLATES (REG PLATE) WITH GB LOGO | eBay

Rear is housed in a plain black Wurth holder, front stuck to the MB plate facia with sticky pads. NB Best to bend front plate in the middle before mounting.

I would like to use a frameless 'tray' type holder on the rear, as discussed upthread, but they simply don't seem to be available now.

I think, perhaps you're linking your pics from Google+ or similar - they're really not the best platform to share anything.

Try photobucket or flickr - plenty of [free] space, easy to link, and no problem with broken links, or annoying insistence to login to one's Google account, etc.

Personally, I wouldn't use any Google service, if there's an alternative, but that's just my personal preference.

Or Postimage.io?? That's what I use :)

Sure, it just it's a lot easier to link to photos, hosted on one of those services - they are free, and not blocked by ad blockers and security apps - e.g. I can see Ghostery blocked some Google stuff [g+] in your post ...

I got them from eBay, these are the one I bought
