Numberplate Reversing Sensors

Hi guys

Can anyone recommend a number plate surround which has parking sensors on built. A colleague not on the forum, has a w203 with no rear sensors and was considering this option rather than drilling in to the bumpers.

Also how difficult is it to wire up to the reverse lights on this model?

Seen a few products online and eBay, he is not sure what to go for.

The numberplate is too high up to be of any use, also the sensor will be too deep.

Added to that, where would you place the wires?

I don't think there is a huge gap between the bottom of the plate and where factory sensors are normally fitted, so this won't be an issue IMO. Also from images I've seen, the sensors project out a little so they're not a flush fit making them more effective.

I think the main issue is wiring an how this is done linking to reverse lights. The cables supplied with the kits are around 2m long.
