numpty rattley door question

I`ve got a `92 300e-24v and the passeger door has developed a really annoying rattle, I think it`s just a piece of trim needs tightening from the inside.

If I have a crack at it myself am I going to come across any tricky or unexpected problems, it`s got full electric seats and windows if that makes any difference.

No - it's fairly straightforward. Taking it apart is easy; putting it back together can be a little bit fiddly... you need to make sure all the hooks on the door card engage in all the slots at the same time (having lined up the lock pin with the hole)... and don't forget to reattach the lock mechanism to the handle...

A common fault is for the check strap screws to shear - so that may well be the source of your rattle.
