Set it up for download, and an update version will appear, listing everything inc languages, unclick everything except English, and download. That's what I do each time I update. Let us know how you get on.

i have done that umpteen times with the same result,cancelled every language except english.

Delete the whole card, format it again and reload your back up file, assuming you did a back up before you started deleting files?

Ok, who did you buy the scanner from? LJMdiagnostics? UK Direct ? Hereunder is a screen shot of an update from mine. I use "Sniping Tool" for capturing full or partial screen shots....you can download it from the net. You can alspo use "PRT SC" button in the top row, Also Windows Key + PRTSCN, Windows Key +Shift +S. Screen will dim, allowing you to take partial of full size screen snaps. Google "Snip & Sketch"for some very helpfull suggestions re screen snips.
Now back to your problem....Go to iCarsoft web site, and explain your problem to a very helpfull Mr Barret Davies in iCarsoft support, and if he cannot help you.......you are DOOMED!!!. But seriously, he will be able to help, and he is very quick to reply to request's, quite the best response I've seen in regard to requests for assistance.
Guessing here, but could the Micro sim be faulty? I have downloaded the updates to spare Micro cards, just in case..

went and bought a new micro sim but that did not work reformated the old micro sim tried that again now just getting error code 3,already sent email to carsoft but ready to send it back to amazon.will then purchase from somewhere else.

OK, good to have the return option with Amazon...but first, I'd still contact Mr.Barret, give him the serial number, and describe the problem. He will get back to you, and confirm if the unit is genuine or not...and you can act accordingly. If it is genuine, then you need a solution.

just an update for you ,got a reply from mr barret at icarsoft apparently sd card was corrupted so advised me how to reformat card and retry again, which worked perfectly i am suspicious that unit was a return but everything works so no problem.

I had the same problem with mine after leaving it plugged in the OBD overnight and flattened my battery, think it’s fairly common they play up and have to be formatted again.

On the forced regen procedure did you get it to work ? I never found anyone who could.
