That's expensive - mine cost £20 on amazon.

It works on my (petrol) 202 - but I know diesels were later to support OBD. Also you'll need a 38 pin -> 16 pin adaptor and the normal ones on ebay connect to pin 15 of the 38 pin socket, which doesn't work for me - I've wired to pin 4 instead.

You can use EasyOBDII (freeware) with this, better that the cut down scantool.net sofware that comes with these - also I have my own software which will do logging as you drive (I must get around to doing a release build of this).

Forgot to say ELM327 refers to the chip that should be inside these - however these are chinese clones if you open them up you find a PIC processor that's simulating the ELM. However it does seem to work exaclty as a genuine ELM would.

I don't know much about these, never had or used one before.
I've got the SRS warning light on, cause has been rectified.
So will this unit clear the warning light?

I'm even more confused now

I thought that required the dealer/Star to do?

That thread suggests that the ECU on a 606 engine should be pin 5 on the 38 pin (so should be wire to pin 7 on the 16 pin OBD connector) - couldn't see mention from 230K that he'd tried that pin?

Mind you it also says pin 5 for a M112 which conflicts with what I have read and elsewhere (and the fact that pin 4 actually works for me). This (page 13) suggests pin 4 would be the one to use.

Hi

I had pages and pages of info telling me different things, cannot remember now whether i tried pin 5, i probably did or maybe it didnt have any wire to it on the 38 pin connector. Really cant remember and the pages and notes i had are not to be found now:mad: but would be interested if somebody has success though:D
