So, i've been lurking on the boards for some time now, posting every now and then and thought i'd finally introduce myself.

My name is Anup and I live on the outskirts of NW London, UK.

I recently picked up a brand new, delivery mileage C200 Premium Plus AMG Line Cabrio and love the car. This is our 5th Mercedes Benz in the family and we've had:
W163 ML 250 cdi
W164 ML 250 cdi
W176 A200 cdi
W166 ML250d
and now this W205 C200 Cabriolet.

I've started doing some visual customisations to the car and whilst I appreciate that they may not be to everyone's tastes, i'm hoping they're not hideous. I'm not a fan of chrome trim, and so wanted to darken the trims as much as I could without going down the gloss black/carbon fibre route, so I used some brushed Titanium wrap (i own a security system company called Titanium Alarms) and so wanted to incorporate some of that into my car.

Please excuse for not having a full shot of the car as it stands, but with the rain and snow recently, it's embarrassingly filthy and needs to be washed this weekend (it's going to be ceramic coated straight after!) but i'll share some quick pics:

Delivered!:

the first mod was to tint the rear lights slightly to better blend with the colour of the car:

I then ordered the sport wheel caps and wrapped the centres in the brushed titanium vinyl:

I also ordered the front bumper canards. Wrapped these also in brushed Titanium, and fitted the lower ones, but when i came to fit the upper ones i felt that it was just too much going on. I may fit the full set for a few days to see what it looks like, but i kinda like this look.

I also began wrapping the chrome in the front grille. I'm happy to leave the diamonds as they are, however i wrapped the blades and the star and think it came out pretty good:

Finally i managed to find a spoiler that looked good and fitted my cabrio, and this fit perfectly! Again, i wrapped it in the brushed titanium to tie in with the other accents.

my next mods are going to be to wrap the front grille in the same material and to also wrap the little inserts (? dunno what else to call them) in the sideskirts. Once thats done, i think i'll be happy for the time being.

looking forward to being a more active member of the community!
