Odd cd/aircon layout

Doing a little bit of e55 drooling and I came across this one on ebay

is it just me or are the locations of the cd and aircon unit swapped over?

yes swapped over .. not that difficult since the units are the same size and have the same fittings

Fair enough, didn't realise that, I'd always thought the head unit was larger.

worth doing if you are putting in a flip out screen so that you can still control the A/C when its up!

not an option on a W126 SEC and so you have to memorise the A/C buttons

I know that's what got me looking at it.

Heart says yes to getting one, head is saying no since I'm now going to be doing 20K+ a year commuting
